-Mexico, 2018Hedónimal
Set in a parallel world inhabited by advanced animal species, this choreography follows a group of humans who break free from a system of control and exploitation. Their journey becomes an allegory of liberation, exposing complex dynamics of power and dependence between species. Through a surreal, inverted world order, the work mirrors and questions contemporary realities—our desires, technologies, and everyday rituals—revealing how comfort and consumption often coexist with forms of invisibilized violence.
Hedónimal critically reflects on systems of hyper-consumption, media saturation, mass persuasion, and the exploitation of natural resources, inviting audiences to reconsider their own position within these interwoven structures.
